First book: Zeb is the ranger who had to return to his hometown because he was assigned to.His previous assignment identity had caused him to be a target. When he returns home he is greeted by Willa. Things do heat up from there. Willa sees something and reports it. Zeb has to protector from the harm. This is a super great romance that has been in the making for a long time from kids to adult.
Book two: Cia has a special talent and a close friend named Joe. There is serial killer from long ago and enters people's bodies to do evil. Kade is one of the law enforcement men assigned to help in the investigation. Cia and Kade heat up the sheets. The evil stalks Cia. I don't want to spoil the outcome. Sometimes things don't turn out like you hope.

I thought this was a good listen, didn't like it as much as other books of her but it was worth the time. Things just felt like they moved to soon, The first books ending moved to fast, I will have to admit when the end came I did have a tear in my eye, it really broke my heart before she put a smile back on my face. The second story I just could not get into at all, my mind would not wrap around it. These were enjoyable just not I will listen to again like some of her other work.

I have never listened to this narrator, he did a good job. There was one place that he repeated some wording, another place where I thought the book must have skipped the ending but it had not. The way he ended that chapter throw me off. There were a few places where I think he got the characters voices mixed up but I still knew who was talking. I did feel that he did put emotions in the story. I didn't hear any background or noise. I thought his voice was very sexy and gave true emotions. I knew what each character felt. All in all it was a good listen.

I did enjoy this, it has a few surprise, dear sweet Joe is back twisting his way into your heart.

Two books, two romances -- both nice light reads.
1. Zeb and Willa -- Zeb has been ordered back to his home after 20 years away. Willa has a nasty fight on her hands with criminal neighbors. Suspense and romance follow.

2. Kade and Cia -- Kade is lead Ranger on a serial murderer case and Cia is FBI with special powers looking to catch this murderer. More romance and some scary suspense follow.

Quick reads with sexy scenes and likable characters. A pet peeve of mine, however, are incorrect words ("mussel" used for "muzzle" -- one is from the clam family and the other is a part of a rifle); and many - at least 20 missing verbs, prepositions, etc. Please proof read!

I'm new to this author and had no expectations other than I was hopeful this was going to be a good read since the blurb sounded so interesting.

Book One- Willa and Zeb's story was an exciting at times very intense story. Some of Zeb's thoughts when he is in contact at different times to Willa's menagerie of pets set some light hearted moments. I liked the H and h and I wouldn't mind seeing them again in later books.

Book Two- ( Kade and Cia's story) Out of the two books in this set their story seems more fleshed out and it is why after I read it I am hopeful it is going to be an ongoing series. The paranormal aspects were done very well and I really enjoyed the supporting characters. The relationship between Kade and Cia was hot, sexy though by the end of the book it had developed to much more.

I'm looking forward to reading more Ciana Stone books.

Ciana Stone is a virtual unknown. These 2 books were both mesmerizing and thrilling. I found myself completely enthralled with Willa and Zeb, the emotion just pours from the book, I literally was held captivated by the written. Just outstanding! Can a lifetime of want and need culminated in a few week. The story takes place in a ranch town, its a fast paced read it will have you gripping your heart. This book had me in love with the author. Cia,is looking for,hard fast and deep. She wasn't looking to complicate her life, but the sexy man is irresistible. And she won't stop til he is in her bed. The sex is well developed and isn't over the top...down your throat, the perfect blend of drama, suspense love and passion, honor and duty. Gave the book 5 stars, the writing is outstanding! And the best is yet to come!

Oh, those Texas Rangers!

The first book is a western ranch story featuring Zeb and Willa. Zeb is a Texas Ranger who is forced to return to his home town to “lay low” for a while after his identity is blown in an undercover operation. He reunites with a childhood friend, Willa, who has been in love with Zeb since she was a little girl. Willa is threatened by a nasty family of hoodlums in a neighboring farm, and Zeb is called upon to protect her. I don’t want to give spoilers, so I won’t say much more as far as the plot goes.

The Texas drawl and cowboy speak got sort of annoying, but this is essentially a Western so I got over it. The story itself is a sweet romance, and I even teared up a little bit at the very end. My favorite part? I absolutely loved all of Willa’s interaction with the animals! They really lightened the mood and put a smile on my face. I’ve never read any book where someone has a pet bobcat, much less one that doesn’t eat the pet ferrets and even gets along with the pet wolf! :) I loved the ferrets and Lobo. What a fun household!

The second book really shines in this boxed set. The story was interesting, the plot was pretty good, and I liked the paranormal aspects of it. This story has a serial killer, which is fascinating and unique (I don’t want to give spoilers, so you will have to see it for yourself). I loved the mediums and “X-files” type characters, and I liked Joe, the mystery character. Kade and Cia have an interesting romance, and the situations that occur strengthen their bond. We learn something interesting about Kade in this book, and I was glad to see that he had his own book since he had a cameo appearance in Zeb’s story.

Of the two stories, I think my favorite was Kade’s story. Zeb’s was sweeter and more romantic, but Kade’s had action and adventure. I sort of wish Zeb and Kade had a meet-up at the end with their new girlfriends, since they are friends. Maybe their stories will continue in another book. I'd rate this 3.5-4 stars.

And where trouble was you would fine Willa .Zeb would be the one that would have to save her and himself . The between them was fantastic and amazing. this story had me wanting more and I would totally recommend this book to others .The characters in this book was strong. they had you drawing in to the action with them and it kept you interested thought out the book Book2-----Kade Lawson was a Texas Ranger was on his biggest case of his life until the beautiful and strong headed Cia Whitehorse was an FBI agent who marched into his office with a giant chip on her shoulder. Cia Whitehorse came to town to track down a serial killer who was a whole new caliber and she was bound and bend on getting her man. But when she took one look at handsome and sexy Kade ,she wanted him in her bed at one look and she was going to have him one way or another. But Kade was take in by her beauty too. And he was willing to give her what she wanted and that was him in her bed .Kade thoughts were Cia was tough as she was sexy. But he had the feeling she was hiding something and he was going to fine what the mystery was. But was problem was solving the mystery of the beautiful Cia. But he new it would come with a price -that could be lethal . This was a great book and the action was fabulous and the passion and spice between the characters I thought level out the whole story. I would totally recommend this book to any of my friends and family who wanted a great romance novel for a weekend read. .Thank you for asking me to read these books for a review
